Tally Counters,
commonly call turning-movement counters are used for a variety of traffic
studies such as turning movements, delay to stop, saturation flow rates,
etc. The BASICON
tally counters have been designed to address the problems of the current
tally counters in the market. Namely, we have reduced the size and
weight of the units, simplified operations of the units, improved data
reliability, increased versatility of the counters, and reduced power consumption.
All of these add up to improved data accuracy, reduced operator fatigue
and lower cost of ownership. And yes the units are fully Y2K
ready.

revolutionary design uses just 4 keys to record 16 turning movements in
an intersection. This unit is by far the easiest and most intuitive
to use. It requires two keypresses to store a movement, the entry
lane and the exit lane. The "A" key is used as an "OOPs" button and
the "B" key can be used for pedestrians, trucks, or bicycles. |

|
| WinTally is a fully Y2K
ready 32bit Windows application which will run under Windows95/98/NT.
WinTally will download the MicroTally units at up to 115,200 Baud.
It tests the unit battery each time it is connected. It allows configuring
and zeroing of the MicroTally units. It will create a variety of
studies from the recorded data: Such as turning movements with user
specified start and stop times, interval reports from one minute and up,
spreadsheet and database exports/imports, and data editing. |
